FAQ
Will this shotgun cycle light target loads?
During the first 50-100 rounds, stick with heavy turkey loads (3″ magnums) to break in the inertia spring. After that, it will cycle 2 3/4″ target loads reliably. Per Retay’s manual, the Inertia Plus System needs a firm push to function initially.
Is the pistol grip stock removable?
The fixed pistol grip is permanently molded into the synthetic stock. You cannot swap it for a standard stock without replacing the entire stock assembly.
Does it come with choke tubes?
Yes, the Gordion Turkey includes three Beretta/Benelli pattern choke tubes: full, modified, and improved cylinder. The full choke is ideal for turkey loads at 30-40 yards.
Can left-handed shooters use this gun?
The safety and bolt release are ambidextrous-friendly, but the shell ejector is on the right side. Lefties may get ejected shells near their face. A left-handed version is not currently offered.
